(walking footsteps) - [Woman] Hey, everything okay in here?
Look, I know it can be kind of hard getting adjusted and getting used to everything, but you'll be okay and you can always talk to me.
(beeping) - [Man] Pick up, pick up.
- [Woman] Sorry, just one second.
Yeah?
(beeping) - [Man] Hicks, we got a fight again.
- [Woman] (sighing) I already did my shift on the girl's floor today.
(beeping) - [Man] They need you upstairs.
- [Woman] Well, can somebody else cover it?
I'm kind of in the middle of something.
(beeping) - [Man] I don't know.
They let Mario go this morning.
We don't have anyone up there right now.
- [Woman] (sighing) All right, I'll be up.
Let's talk later, okay?
(rattling) (glass breaks) - [Woman] Somebody!
Somebody got hurt!
Somebody got hurt!
(rustling) - [Man] Down, get down!
Get down, get down!
- No!
- [Man] Get down!
Get down!
- No!
- [Man] Stay down!
(screaming) Stay down!
Stay down!
(screaming) Stay down!
I don't want to hurt you!
I don't know what you were thinking!
Stay down.
Oh my god, what were you thinking?
(labored breathing) (pained yelling) (sobbing) (loud conversations) - All right, well I'm sorry, but I cannot get this to work, but today's presentation was going to be about public transportation and kind of the do's and don't's of that, something that I would say, it's a good idea to have your change counted out and in your hand before you get on the bus.
- Like we don't know that.
- Bitch, you calling me dumb?
- [Class] Ohhhh.
- [Instructor] Girls, come on.
- [Girl] Bitch.
- What's your issue, bitch?
Sit your ass down.
- [Class] Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight (chanting) (chanting) (clapping) - [Man] Get back, everyone, get back!
- [Girl] Let me go!
- Seriously, okay everyone just needs to just take a deep breath and calm down, okay?
Please.
Okay, thank you.
All right, guys, seriously, no more fighting, okay?
Please can we just get through this one day with no more figh-- (bouncing ball) - [Boy] That's it.
Never cross me again.
Set it, right to left it.
(scrambling footsteps) (bouncing) That wasn't the end of it, bro.
(bouncing) He said you ratted someone out too.
(conversation drowned out by airplane engine) (rattling fence) - You play good.
- I know.
- [Girl] Got a girlfriend?
- Ain't you nine?
- [Girl] Some kind of faggot?
(boy chuckles) - I ain't messing with Keesha for your scrawny ass.
- See, that's why I don't play with boys.
Got a job, a car?
What you really got to offer?
(water running) (distant conversations) You don't like bagels?
They're like the best part, you know?
Don't you talk?
- When I have something to say.
- See, that's why you sit alone.
- Apparently I don't no more.
- You'd be bored as (audio cuts out) right now if I didn't sit down.
How'd you get that?
- Probably the same way you got that.
- You lost a fight to a girl?
Well you have now.
You coming tonight?
Don't fret.
A few of us are sneaking out, going to a park.
Gonna get (audio cuts out) and have some fun.
You want in?
(water running) (door opens) (door closes) - Hey.

- We had a deal.
- My brother gave it to me.
- You gave it to me.
- [Man] We need some muscle friends, let's go.
(door closes) (birds chirping) - You ready?
- What about that?
- You think they check the cameras?
Come on, let's go.
Okay, let's see.
(rattling) Dammit.
Fixed it, all right, we'll have to climb over I guess.
- [Man] Hey, hey stop!
- We need to climb, let's go, let's go.
(rattling) - [Man] Hey!
- Okay.
- [Man] Hey, stop!
- Yeah, yeah, yeah, go, go.
- [Man] Hey!
- [Girl] Come on, come on, we need to go.
I left my bag.
- [Boy] It's too late, forget it.
(gentle slow music) Are you sure this is the right way?
- [Girl] Yes, I'm sure, just go.
(gentle slow music) (horn honks) (sighs) - [Boy] Don't do that.
- This place is boring.
I would never live here.
(dog barking) (sighing) Why are you such a goodie goodie?
You don't do anything bad.
(siren sounding) (labored breathing) - Are they looking for us?
- They know we don't belong here, one more reason I can't wait to get out.
- How are you gonna do that?
- I know a guy with an RV, you know, cars on wheels?
Travels all over.
Says he may take me with him.
Come on.
(wind blowing) - [Boy] Hey sir?
Can I have some money?
Why won't you look at me?
- You guys got beer money?
Got to shake the next one that comes through.
You down?
The sweeter she looks, the more money we get.
- [Girl] I'll do it.
- Nah.

- Fine.
Do it.

- [Woman] He dropped down in front of the van and-- (grunts) (indecipherable arguing) (grunting) (chaotic arguing) - No, you'll hurt my baby!
(baby crying) (indecipherable argument) (door closes) (muffled baby cries) (grunting) - It's fine.
Get going.
(grunting) - [Boy] She ain't paid.
- I said it's my fault!
Get outta here!
- [Woman] No!
(grunting) (car speeds off) - You think you're better than us, right?
We all dealing with the same (audio cuts out).
And not one of us gave up.
'Cept you.
(whimpering) Can't even do that right.
(crying) Should leave that (audio cuts out).
(crying) (crickets chirping) (music playing in the background) - What?
You don't have to hang out with him.
What'd you come here for?
You don't drink, you don't talk.
- [Boy] I don't know.
- Is it cause of me?
You know, you ain't gotta like it, but right now, we're as much family as you're gonna get.
So take it or leave it, but it ain't getting any better than this.
