Itzel Barraza is the Program Director at Latinitas, a nonprofit focused on empowering young Latinas through media and technology. Itzel can relate to the girls they serve because she also grew up in a similar situation straddling two cultures and two languages. The work they do allows the girls to express themselves, build self-esteem while gaining technology and communication skills.
